【摘要】:Thepermissiblelevelofheavymetalsincertaincoatingsisspecifiedbygovernmentalregulatoryagencies.Thistestmethodprovidesafullydocumentedprocedurefordetermininglowconcentrationsofantimonypresentinbothwater-andsolvent-reduciblecoatingstodeterminecompliance.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecontentofantimonyintherangebetween50and200ppm(mg/kg)presentinthesolidsofliquidcoatingsorindriedfilmsobtainedfrompreviouslycoatedsubstrates.Thereisnoreasontobelievethathigherlevelscouldnotbedeterminedbythistestmethod,providedthatappropriatedilutionsandadjustmentsinspecimensizeandreagentquantitiesaremade.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.
