【摘要】:Intheresearchandproductionenvironmentsthereexistsarangeoftestmethodsforcharacterizingthegeometryofopticalfibres.Furthermore,eachtestmethodmaydetermineoneormoreofthemanyparametersrequiredforcompletegeometricalcharacterization.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthecalibrationoftestsetswhichperformend-faceimageanalysis,alsoknownasnear-fieldorgrey-scaleanalysis.Theprinciples,however,maybeappliedtotestsetsofadifferenttype.Thisstandardaddressesthecalibrationofmeasurementsmadeonsingle-modefibresonly;however,thistypeoftestsetmayalsobeusedtomeasurethegeometricalparametersofthecoresofmultimodefibres,buttheevaluationofuncertaintiesassociatedwiththesemeasurementsisbeyondthescopeofthisstandard.Theproceduresoutlinedaretobeperformedbycalibrationlaboratoriesandbythemanufacturersorusersofgeometrytestsets,forthepurposeofcalibratinggeometrytestsetsandforevaluatingtheuncertaintiesinmeasurementsmadeoncalibratedtestsets.Thecalibrationoffibrecoatingorcablemeasurementtestsetsisnotcoveredbythisstandard.Theobjectofthisstandardistodefineastandardprocedureforthecalibrationoftestsetsformeasuringtheglassgeometryofopticalfibres.
