【摘要】:1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistancetofractureofmetallicmaterialsunderModeIloadingatstaticratesusinganyofthefollowingnotchedandprecrackedspecimens:themiddle-crackedtensionM(T)specimen,thecompacttensionC(T)specimen,orthecrack-line-wedge-loadedC(W)specimen.AK-Rcurveisacontinuousrecordoftoughnessdevelopment(resistancetocrackextension)intermsofKRplottedagainstcrackextensioninthespecimenasacrackisdrivenunderanincreasingstressintensityfactor,K.1.2MaterialsthatcanbetestedforK-Rcurvedevelopmentarenotlimitedbystrength,thickness,ortoughness,solongasspecimensareofsufficientsizetoremainpredominantlyelastictotheeffectivecrackextensionvalueofinterest.1.3Specimensofstandardproportionsarerequired,butsizeisvariable,tobeadjustedforyieldstrengthandtoughnessofthematerials.1.4OnlythreeofthemanypossiblespecimentypesthatcouldbeusedtodevelopK-Rcurvesarecoveredinthismethod.1.5Thetestisapplicabletoconditionswhereamaterialexhibitsslow,stablecrackextensionunderincreasingcrackdrivingforce,whichmayexistinrelativelytoughmaterialsunderplanestresscracktipconditions.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
