【摘要】:Stainingofbuildingmaterialsisanaestheticallyundesirableoccurrence.Thistestmethodevaluatesthelikelihoodofasealantcausinganearlystainonaporoussubstrateduetoexudationofmaterialsfromthesealant.Sincethisisanacceleratedtest,itdoesnotnecessarilypredictthatthetestedsealantswillnotstainordiscolorporoussubstratesoverlongerperiodsoftime.1.1Thistestmethodcoversfourtypesoflaboratoryteststodetermineifajointsealanthasaprobabilityofstainingaporoussubstrate(suchasmarble,limestone,sandstone,andgranite).Thetestsareoncompressedsamplesandinclude(1)storageunderstandardlaboratoryconditions,(2)storageinanoven,and(3)exposureinafluorescentUV/condensationdevice,and(4)exposureinaxenonarcdevice.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardspublishedbyotherorganizations.
