【摘要】:ThisDirectorycontainsthenamesofcompaniesauthorizedtousetheULMarkonorinconnectionwithproductsthathavebeeninvestigatedbyULandfoundtobeincompliancewithUL’srequirements.Thesecompanies,aswellasthemanufacturersandsubmittersoftheproducts,haveenteredintoanAgreementwithULtousetheULMarkonlyonorinconnectionwithproductsmanufacturedincompliancewithUL’srequirements.ItshouldbenotedthatULcertifiedproductsofdifferentmakesormodeldesignationsarenotnecessarilyequivalentinqualityorperformance.TheappearanceofcatalogormodelnumbersorotherspecificproductdesignationsinthisDirectorysignifiesthat:(1)representativesamplesoftheseproductshavebeensubmittedtoULandfoundtocomplywiththeapplicablerequirements,andthat(2)themanufacturerhasbeenauthorizedtousetheappropriateULMarkonproductionthatcontinuestocomplywithUL’srequirementsandissubjecttoUL’sFollow-UpService.SincemanufacturersarenotobligatedtoapplytheULMarkonalloftheirproduction,productsthatdonotbeartheULMarkarenotrequiredbyULtocomplywithUL’srequirements.Accordingly,theappearanceofacompany’snameoraspecificproductdesignationinthisDirectorydoesnotinitselfensurethatproductssospecifiedoridentifiedaresubjecttoUL’sFollow-UpService.Themanufacturer’sproductsarenotsubjecttoUL’sFollow-UpServiceunlesstheybeartheULMark.OnlythoseproductsbearingtheappropriateULMarkandthecompany’sname,tradename,trademarkorotherauthorizedidentificationshouldbeconsideredasbeingcoveredbyUL’sListingorClassificationandFollow-UpService.TheULMarkprovidesevidenceoflistingorlabeling,whichmayberequiredbyinstallationcodesorstandards.
